When to Visit?

Winter is the ideal time to plan a safari to Amboseli National Park. From June to October, the weather is dry and animals naturally congregate around water sources. From November to May, intense summer rains create potholes on roads, making park access quite challenging. However, the summer trip is worthwhile for bird enthusiasts.
