Welcome to Kenya!
Jomo Kenyata Airport → Nairobi
Evening arrival at Nairobi airport and transfer to your hotel. You spend your evening freely in Nairobi, a giant cosmopolitan metropolis that exudes impressive dynamism. Once, Nairobi was merely a marshland inhabited by a few East African peoples, notably the Akamba, the Maasai, and the Kikuyu. Moreover, its name derives from the Maasai phrase « Enkare Nyirobi », meaning « the corner of fresh waters ».
In the evening, enjoy a free dinner in the city and spend the night at your hotel, just 5 km from Nairobi city center and close to shops and many tourist attractions.
Route to Masai Mara Reserve
The Masaï Mara is the main wildlife reserve in Kenya, nestled in the south of the country, at the gates of Tanzania. The reserve unfolds landscapes of plains and wooded savanna where felines and herbivores engage in a relentless struggle. The Mara River lent its name to this magnificent reserve and one understands why, when the river offers one of the most extraordinary migration scenes in the animal kingdom from July to October. Millions of wildebeest leave the Serengeti park in Tanzania for the plains of Masai Mara, where rainfall is more abundant and grasses are more tender. They must cross the waterway, swim between crocodiles and struggle to escape their terrible jaws.

Located in the heart of a natural conservancy, 2 hours from the park, you are welcomed by Sankale, son of supreme chief Lerionka Ole Ntutu and proud to be a man of the Maasai tribe. A naturalist and passionate guide, he has extensive knowledge of wildlife and flora, edible and medicinal plants and bush crafting techniques that he enjoys sharing. You completely reconnect with nature during this first stage and learn how the Maasai live so close to nature.
You set off for 2 hours to walk in the savanna and are guided by a Maasai who shares his knowledge with you. You spend the night in one of the safari dome tents or in one of the chalets.
In the evening, you can sit around the large campfire and enjoy a freshly prepared meal with vegetables and herbs from our countryside organic garden.

Masaï Mara: Full Day Safari in Search of the Big Five
After waking up at camp and having breakfast with the Maasai, you depart late in the morning for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It's time for your first safari to discover the park accompanied by your guide to observe the wildlife and flora. Today's objective: to spot, observe, and marvel at the Big Five. It is in this park, the most famous and most visited in the country, where the film Félins was filmed, an American documentary produced by Disneynature, as well as Out of Africa with Meryl Streep.

Masaï Mara: second safari day
After your breakfast, prepare yourself for this 2nd exciting day exploring the other side of the park towards the Mara River, famous for the spectacular crossings during the wildebeest migration. You may have the chance to observe crocodiles.
Did you know that the Masai Mara, extending the Serengeti park in Tanzania, is an emblematic site of the Great Migration, which takes place from July to October? During this period, you will have the opportunity to observe the passage of zebras and wildebeest, forming impressive herds that brave the waters of the Mara River, populated by fearsome crocodiles.
Heading to Lake Nakuru National Park
This morning, you head towards the Lake Nakuru National Park, located on the shores of the famous lake of the same name. The mountain roads reveal a new, more agricultural landscape. Although the distance is short, the travel time is not always so because the roads are not always easy to navigate, but that's all part of the adventure!

Once you arrive on site, you begin your exploration of the Nakuru Lake National Park. You then discover a landscape totally different from that of the Masai Mara. Lake Nakuru is renowned for hosting more than 400 bird species, including pink flamingos, African fish eagles, white pelicans, woolly-necked storks, and many others.
Beyond this rich avifauna, the park is also renowned for its rhinoceros populations, which make it its second major attraction. Also be attentive to cheetahs, lions, hyenas, buffalo, hippopotamuses, zebras, giraffes, and other species that populate the region and come to drink from the lake's waters.
At the end of the day, you are settled at the lodge located in the heart of the park. You dine on site and enjoy an unobstructed view of the park's landscapes and its lake. Take two days to explore the park at your own pace, immersing yourself in its unique atmosphere and relaxing by the pool.
Naivasha Crater Lake – Crescent Island
You enjoy another morning of Safari in the Nakuru Park.
Transfer to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is part of the Great Rift Valley.

After dropping off the luggage in the bungalows, we head out for a boat ride to Crescent Island. This small peaceful island is nestled on the east shore of Lake Naivasha. In spectacular mountainous scenery, interspersed with marshes, ponds and acacia forests, the sanctuary is home to a rich and varied birdlife, joined by zebras, impalas, black wildebeest and giraffes.
The excursion will be an opportunity to share magical moments with the animals. We hike through wild places, in the heart of nature among zebras and gazelles.

Amboseli: The Amboseli reserve with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop
Crescent Island → Amboseli National Park
Heading due south, towards the Amboseli Reserve located in south-central Kenya, in the heart of the mythical Great Rift Valley. Being the second most visited reserve in Kenya, this protected area fascinates travelers due to its rich and varied wildlife. You will encounter, among others, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippopotamuses, antelopes, warthogs and herds of elephants.
As a bonus, the site offers a superb view of Kilimanjaro.

The park, with its natural beauty and small lakes, offers you one of the most magnificent safari landscapes of your trip. Armed with your camera, become privileged witnesses to scenes of wild life: a colony of elephants moving majestically across the savanna, lion cubs playing around their mother, young Maasai watching over their livestock…

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

Passport
To enter Kenya, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your date of entry into the country and contain at least two blank pages for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Visa and eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)
Since January 2024, Kenya has replaced the traditional visa with an electronic travel authorization (eTA), which is mandatory for all travellers.
The eTA must be obtained online before departure through the official Kenyan government portal. It is generally processed within a few business days and permits a tourist stay of up to 90 days.
When applying, the following documents are generally required:
a valid passport,
a proof of departure from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of accommodation booking,
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.
The eTA confirmation (digital or printed format) must be presented upon arrival to the immigration services.
Health and Vaccinations
Kenya is considered a malaria risk area. Taking a preventive antimalarial treatment is strongly recommended; consult your doctor before departure.
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory if you are arriving from a country where this disease is endemic. In this case, you must be able to present a valid international vaccination certificate upon arrival.
The following vaccinations are also recommended:
hepatitis A and B,
typhoid,
meningitis,
update of routine vaccinations (tetanus, diphtheria, poliomyelitis).
Travel with Children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay, as well as their own eTA.
When a minor travels without one of their parents, a parental authorization may be required according to the regulations of your country of residence.
